Window Profile
PVC is the main material for the production of door and window profiles and its multiple properties have made it the most ideal option in terms of design and construction for door and window profiles. For better processing and performance during the process, other materials such as stabilizers are used for heat stability, better rheology of materials, color stability, prevention of polymer degradation, prevention of oxidation, resistance to different climates, etc. INCACHEM offers a wide range of stabilizers for door and window profiles. In addition to our standard products, we have the ability to customize materials depending on the needs of each customer.
Foamed Sheets
PVC sheets are products with excellent technical properties that meet the most demanding economic and ecological requirements. Applications include apparatus engineering, worktops, siding and exhibition stands. Sandwich systems can be used for interior trimmings of railway carriages and airplanes, PVC doors, etc. Baerlocher PVC additives enable high-quality sheets to be produced efficiently, and impart key properties to the finished products – including chemical resistance, weathering resistance, low density, a high Vicat softening point, and low flammability.
Pipes and Fittings
Extruded PVC pipes and injection-molded fittings are products with excellent technical properties that meet the most demanding economic and ecological requirements. The variety of PVC pipe systems derives not only from the multitude of dimensions, shapes and colors available, but also the many production technologies employed. Specific additives and manufacturing techniques can be used to achieve the best end-product results for a range of different PVC pipe systems. PVC additives enable high-quality pipes and fittings to be made efficiently, and impart specific properties to the finished products – such as high mechanical stability and longevity.
Cable Applications
Polyvinyl chloride is one of the most frequently used polymers for cables. Nearly 90 percent of all cables for voltages of under 1000 are PVC-insulated. PVC is the material of choice for both insulation and sheathing mixtures up to the high-voltage range. PVC cables are used as underground cables, installation cables and heat conductors. Their area of application is immense, ranging from telecommunications all the way to the automotive industry. The most important challenges include tough mechanical stress as well as great temperature fluctuations.
